Starting a blog can be a daunting task. However as I love writing and sharing my thoughts with others whilst at the same time absorbing theirs; I thought it was finally time to put pen to paper ( or fingers to keyboard!) and begin my blog. Here goes...
I aim to use this blog to share my thoughts and views on various topics, predominantly makeup and fashion and my Brit/Pakistani culture, but also other things that are of interest to me and I hope will be of interest to you.
The reason for using 'Pearl' in the blog name is mostly owed to the fact that my name, Saddaf, means Pearl in Arabic. Not only that, my birthstone is also Pearl as my birthday falls in June. Yay for being a summer baby!
Overall, it's a pretty happy coincidence :)
So, I hope that this is the beginning of many posts to come.
